The Revere Sugar Factory in Red Hook, long out of use, is being demolished. It's a melancholy occasion for many, because it was a neighborhood landmark and its large conical top could be seen from so many places in New York City. The cone is completely gone now, and that part of the building looks like a short stack of poker chips. Red Hook, Brooklyn. | Filed in Brooklyn.
