A brick building, in fading green paint, has several layers of graffiti on it.

This is the old Underberg Building, referenced in this post about the scaled-back Atlantic Yards project. The building is gone, missed by few. According to Jonathan Lethem's "Fortress of Solitude," their primary business was in shopping carts; but they also sold a purple ink used in pricing guns, which kids treasured for its usefulness in graffiti. The ink, that is. Prospect Heights, Brooklyn.
