I presume Americans know why this is Thursday's photo... Here in the U.S. it's our Thanksgiving, that day when most men of the household do little or nothing to prepare the annual feast, are reluctant to do dishes, and might be grateful that the National Football League provides two games to distract them from everything worth being thankful for. (By the way, just a reminder, the pilgrims sailed to the U.S. from Leiden.) This statue is in Central Park. New York, New York. | Filed in Manhattan.
