A tombstone and other grave markings amidst overgrown grass.

To the right of the path, Mokom Sholom Cemetery. To the left, Bayside Cemetery. Ozone Park (Queens). Off the 80th Street stop on the A train (in Queens) are three strips of cemeteries: Mokom Sholom, Bayside, and Acacia. None of them is as well kept as NYC's more famous cemeteries like Green-Wood. In the case of Bayside, word has it there's no revenue, as it's completely filled up and there aren't any more burials going on. As for the other two, I don't know their histories. But if you visit them, pop a 20 in their donation box, willya? | Filed in Cemeteries and Queens.
