Shall we move to New Mexico?

I hope you realize we recently vacationed in New Mexico. Its offerings are very diverse:

  • There's plenty of culture: a chamber music series was there in Santa Fe, and there's the Santa Fe Opera. As well as many museums, and lots to do in Albuquerque.
  • The food is fantastic: fresh ingredients, and the peppers, oh the peppers.
  • Such a variety of terrain: huge expanses of desert, countered by phenomenal buttes.
  • Plenty to offer the TV/movie fan, what with Breaking Bad having been shot there.
  • And history! The Spaniards, the Native Americans, the Mexicans, the Confederates, the Union, and Bill Richardson!

Not convinced yet? OK how about this: New Mexico is our fifth largest state in square miles, but ranks 37th in population:

BRIDGEWATER, N.J. -- President Donald Trump threatened North Korea "with fire and fury like the world has never seen" on Tuesday after suggestions the communist country has mastered one of the final hurdles to being able to strike the United States with a nuclear missile.

North Korea fired off its own "serious warning to the United States" about "enveloping" America's Pacific territory of Guam in missile fire to counteract U.S. bombers that are based there and fly over South Korea -- and "get on the nerves" of the North.

We have a couple less-than-stable leaders with nukes.
