If government would only get off businesses' backs...
Every time I read a story like this I get angry; VERY angry. One of the largest poultry producers in the country has been caught using underage workers, at hazardous machines. I really doubt this industry would police itself, don't you?
We can't legislate against avarice, but we can legislate against dangerous working conditions. I still remember the case (a few years ago) of the worker in the Brooklyn tortilla factory who got pulled into the dough hopper and died.
