And with this, the RW will stop giggling about Obama miscounting the number of states.

Reacting to his wife Ann's predicament when there was smoke on her plane, Romney said this (emphasis mine):

"I appreciate the fact that she is on the ground, safe and sound. And I don't think she knows just how worried some of us were," Romney said. "When you have a fire in an aircraft, there's no place to go, exactly, there's no -- and you can't find any oxygen from outside the aircraft to get in the aircraft, because the windows don't open. I don't know why they don't do that. It's a real problem. So it's very dangerous. And she was choking and rubbing her eyes. Fortunately, there was enough oxygen for the pilot and copilot to make a safe landing in Denver. But she's safe and sound."

Well, I have some theories about why the windows on airplanes can't be opened. Just a couple. And they have to with making things explode due to a sudden loss of pressure, or maybe things getting sucked out the airplane as the air rushes out, at 40,000 feet. But maybe that's just science stuff, and as we all know, a lot of Republicans are kind of fond of leaving all that science stuff behind, seeing as how science's conclusions represent an existential threat to the Republican platform and its adherent. So let's not go there, we don't want to make any heads explode, ok?
