Last November I walked through lower Manhattan, shooting what suited me, and I shot this at Zucotti Park (famous for Occupy Wall Street):
...And I featured that photo here, and titled it "Listener." Well, the gentleman actually has a name, and was a panelist in the last half hour of this morning's Up With Chris. That segment compared the early 80's anti-AIDS activism of Act Up! to Occupy Wall Street. I felt as if the OWS people (who I respect) were kind of there as window dressing, but it's important to remember how a group like Act Up could create change, and hope that Occupy will do so similarly.
