Hey, not bad; nice piece of change.

Romney and the RNC raised over $100 million in June. Amazing what Obama-hatred and the hope for deeper tax breaks will do.

Of course, I'm being dismissive when I refer to it as a "nice piece of change." A hundred million can do a lot in any community, for schools, food lines, job fairs, health clinics. But while I don't share the priorities of those that thought it better to give to the Romney/RNC, it is their money and they are entitled to do with it as they please.

And the GOP could very well need it: Nate Silver's models, as of this moment, give Obama an 80% chance of beating Romney in the world of "if the election were held today."

When we were in FL last September for my Dad's 85th, he wished for a new President. Since then we've gotten a new one in Russia, in Mexico, France... Perhaps he should have been more specific?
